Sixth Form Milestone Achievements and Insight into Management

Milestone V – Outstanding Achievements!

Certain Sixth Formers have done really well to keep on working hard during the summer term, whether they’re starting their A2 Units or completing their BTEC First and National Units for this year. (Click here to view students who are targetting the best grades)

What are Milestone Assessments?

All Sixth Form students at Eastbury have to complete five major assessment pieces over the course of the year. These are called Milestone Assessments and are used by the Sixth Form leadership and departments to judge how well students are doing against their targets. They provide a rigorous test and help students to really understand how well they’re doing and what they need to do to improve.

Insight into Management:

On July 6th, all AS and BTEC National students start ‘Insight into Management’. This is a work experience and challenge competition where students are set management problems by different companies all over London. The students work with their company for three days before providing their solutions to company executives and then return to Eastbury to make presentations to Mr Patient, the Chair of Governors and the school Senior Leadership Team.
