Working at Eastbury Community School provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career as a teacher or associate (support) member of staff. We are a successful, well ordered and inclusive school serving a diverse community. Our number one priority is to improve teaching and learning, and we pride ourselves in being a school where teachers can teach, and children are aspirational want to learn. We celebrated excellent and record breaking results in GCSE & A- Level in 2016, and was named as England’s kindest school in 2015.
As a mixed community school in Barking, East London we are at the forefront of innovation and development. The school is proud of the excellent progress of students and outstanding provision of care & guidance, support for and collaboration with other schools and teachers, and our plans to extend this further in the future is a key priority for the school.
Our brand new purpose built primary accommodation opened in September 2016 and our new secondary buildings opened in January 2017.
