What is the Positive Parents Forum?
The Forum is a collective of parents and carers who have children attending year 7 to 11. We hold various discussions and consultation sessions so our Parents can come together and share their views in a friendly and supportive environment. The Forum seeks to supports parents by making suggesting for parent related training sessions; Ideas that have already come from a forum include: ESOL Classes for non- English speaking parents, and IT training so parents can familiarise themselves with the IT programmes that are used to teach their children, and Maths classes for parents. As a group we also participate in organising and suggesting events suitable for the whole family.

Our sessions are open to anyone who wants to join in; you don’t have to attend every forum. As parents and carers you can pick and choose to attend any session or topics of discussion that are of interest to you
