A Level Results Day - August 2024
Again we recognise the remarkable achievements of the 2024 cohort of students at Eastbury Community School as they celebrate their outstanding results in the recent A Level examinations. Throughout their educational journey, these students have exhibited exceptional determination and resilience, overcoming challenges amidst uncertainties, including the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
I am delighted to share that the Class of 2024 has not only demonstrated unwavering perseverance but has also performed exceptionally well in their A Level examinations.
The remarkable achievements of our students this year include:
- 11% achieving A* to A grades at A Level
- 30% achieving A* to B grades
- 63% achieving A* to C grades
Furthermore, 4 pupils have achieved 3 A*/A grades, a testament to their hard work and dedication. 10 students have attained 2 A*/A grades, 23 students, have achieved at least 1 A or A* grade.

I am pleased to announce that many of our students have been offered places at prestigious universities, including several admissions to Russell Group institutions. The diversity of courses that our students will be pursuing is commendable, with destinations ranging Kings College London, Queen Mary University of London, University of Nottingham, University of Lancaster and University of Warwick as well as other esteemed universities across the country where they will be studying courses such as Chemical Engineering with Industrial Experience, Geography, Economics, Architecture, Biomedical Engineering, Law and Computer Science.
I am immensely proud of the achievements of every student in the Class of 2024, reflecting the dedication of both the students and the staff at Eastbury Community School. As the Executive Headteacher, it is a privilege to witness the growth and success of our young people as they embark on their future endeavours. The Class of 2024 truly represents an exceptional group of individuals, and we extend our best wishes to them for their future pursuits.
