Politics

Politics affects every part of daily life and is a highly valued subject at A-Level. With key global events and international crises, it is more important than ever before to understand current affairs, systems of government and political decision-making. This course highlights the fundamental importance of a politically literate young generation. The success of this course is what has broken the illusion that young people are disconnected from Politics. Students will gain many transferable skills such as devising cogent and persuasive arguments, analysis, investigation, synthesising, debating, public speaking and essay writing. Students have excellent enrichment opportunities throughout the duration of the course and previous Politics students have gone on to study at University of Cambridge, University of Oxford and Russel Group Universities.
