Our aim is to excite children’s imaginations and inspire them to learn. We want to extend their horizons, deepen their understanding and meet their needs, so they can become successful lifelong learners.
We want the children to leave Year 3 as happy, independent learners who are ready to take on the challenge of Year 4.
This term, we’re writing a non-chronological report on the Ancient Romans. The children have been learning the original text and will be writing reports on the Roman Army and hygiene.
This term, we are focussing on fractions and time. The children have produced some great work at home as well as in school.
This term PE is on Monday and Thursdays. Please ensure children attend school in PE kits.

Mad Scientist Day
We had a fantastic Mad Scientist Day and did lots of experiments!
English - Our book this term was Pebble in My Pocket. The children loved the book and have produced some great work! Including a non-chronological report on Sabertooth Tigers.
Maths: There has been some amazing learning in maths this term. I am so happy with the progress of all the children! Especially after such a long break.
PBL - Volcanoes: Back in September a volcano erupted in our classroom! We have spent the term learning all about volcanoes and ended with making our very own volcanoes.
We even created our own dances based on a volcano erupting.
