Dear Parents and Carers,
It is a statutory requirement for all school to have a Relationships and Sex Education Policy. Following new Government Guidance for all schools on the teaching of Health, Relationships and Relationships and Sex Education, schools have been required to draft a new Relationships and Sex Education Policy.
We had hoped to have a parents meeting regarding the draft Relationships and Sex Education Policy however unfortunately we are unable to do this due to current social distancing guidelines. Please find below materials, which we hope, will support you when looking at our draft Relationships and Sex Education Policy.
We would advise you to read the DFE leaflet first which outlines the new statutory requirements for schools, followed by the RSE Meeting document and the draft policy. We hope the answers to any further questions you have can be found in the FAQ document.
If you have any further questions or comments regarding this policy, please contact Ms Knight EKN@eastbury.bardaglea.org.uk
The parental engagement period for this policy will close on Monday 7th December.
